| Galdr |
Galdr (plural galdrar) is one Old Norse word for "spell, incantation", and which was usually performed in combination with certain rites. It was mastered by both women and men and they chanted it in falsetto (gala). |
| Hov |
Hov means temple, but is a "jurisdiction" of a Stav Master. It can be considered a branch of Hafskjold Stav, as Heimbu is the centre. It could be considered a diocese, but with the head of it able to work on their own interpretation of Stav. |

Seid or seiðr is an Old Norse term for a type of sorcery or witchcraft which was practiced by the pre-Christian Norse. Sometimes anglicized as "seidhr," "seidh," "seidr," "seithr," or "seith," the term is also used to refer to modern Neopagan reconstructions or emulations of the practice. |
